desperate housewives

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Timewasters need not apply.

i love you you pay my rent

Festival time. Glastonbury was having a year off to let the grass grow, Jen and Alex got married on Big Chill weekend, so it had to be a first visit to Bestival. Which was kind of apt, seeing as it started life in the Tea Rooms on a Sunday night, those were the days...

Anyway, off to the Isle of Wight we trundled. We missed most of the bands we meant to see, mostly due to being off our chops. And some. Though we did find the Hidden Disco for a hour of Guilty Pleasures. They even played that Queen song in our honour. Probably they'd have played Johnny Cash if we'd have asked and then it would have been wedding number three.

Elsewhere the Pet Shop Boys rocked. You know you're getting old when bands you've grown up with are 20 years old. And we even joined in the fancy dress parade. 15,000 people in all manner of outfits.

Sadly you'll have to wait a few months for the majority of the photos. All will be revealed..
