my oklahoma home

Just over a year ago we spent 3 days and 2 nights in Yogyakarta in Indonesia. Scene of last weeks earthquake. It'd be wrong to pretend it was one of our favourite places, but, still, we remember some lovely people and had some good times. I remember the lady at the post office, taking pity on our confusion and taking us through the (many) steps necessary to send a parcel home. Anyway, after last week we hope she's okay and everyone else. Anyone wanting to make a donation can do so here www.unicef.org.uk.

Finally as well, more wedding nonsense posted over on the worldwide web's most popular vanity site www.whodowethinkwearetogetmarried.blogspot.com

pay me my money now

So, to get over the pain that is the loss of Ian Dowie and Andy Johnson in just one week, it managed to rain all weekend long.

The Observer had said that Whitstable was the new trendy place to go. Never one to slavishly follow the latest trend, we trotted off. The entire county of Kent is currently engaged in a competition to display more St George's flags than any other place in the world ever. Despite being supposedly trendy, Whitstable was no exception. Still, we had some jellied eels, avoided the rain and came home in time for tea.

Some fairly uninspiring photos to follow, remember the real action these days is over on the other website, more wedding photos than you could shake a leg to... www.whodowethinkwearetogetmarried.blogspot.com
