tropicalia

So, an afternoon off work. Courtesy of the people who broke into Fopp's office last night and stole all the computers. I was second on the scene at 8am this morning to discover no computers, lots of rapidly emptied cupboards and a window open.

After discovery of the great theft, police were called. I dialled 999, the excitement... It was then at least another 2 minutes till someone reached the inevitable conclusion that 'it must have been the cleaners'. As if further proof was needed, one of them (the cleaners) speaks with a foreign accent. We think he's from Eastern Europe. The Daily Mail has been informed..

Anyway, an afternoon of 'working from home' and a chance to update the website. Outside of ransacked offices, preparations continue apace for this summer's vast array of glittering social occasions. This week it was buying rings and locating the Dave Clark Five on cd.

Housewise, the woman that had bought a house but actually hadn't still actually hasn't. Unfortunately our time is running out in Etchell Towers.

In a positive sign the estate agent has agreed that she (the agent) is such a waste of space that we can now talk directly to the woman who had but actually hasn't. Once I give her the bad luck office break-in story, I'm sure she'll be packing her bags within minutes.
